With "facial recognition" & "fingerprint readers" on most modern phones, it's actually *possible* to "vote by phone" today.

Back in 2000, I was tasked with looking into whether "voting online" was possible, but with "Voter ID" restrictions, it was impossible at that time to prove the person who cast the vote was indeed the person registered.

For a "phone-based" system to work though, you'd need your face & fingerprints on file. Most paranoid Wingnuts won't do that. 🤦♂️
