to me, it has nothing to do with being able to pick up the pieces of information, it's about the state of flow that takes a while to set in, and the time it takes to recover from the frustration of being pulled out of it for poor reasons. I feel like a diver being required to suddenly come to the surface without going through depressurizing. I guess not everyone experiences that amount of frustration out of it (I'm pretty sure it's related with my spot in the spectrum), but I don't know that people in general can get into flow quickly (I can't). thanks for being more inclusive in the different perspectives you take before making a judgment
