Question, Was proper maintenance carried out by the airline?

Unfortunately it takes months or even years to come to the root cause(s) of aircraft incidents.

I'm not sticking up for Boeing, but the media loves to talk in the beginning of a problem then they forget bout it when the actual root cause(s) are found months or years later.
