Not that it's relevant but I don't agree.
First of all, I don't get a dopamine response by using Twitter. In fact, I usually fear to have a look when I'm signalled that I got "notifications" (Thank God it's mostly porn accounts who "like" my replies to other people, so I block them).
Also, I don't post with the thought in mind "Will it be funny enough to create a reaction". I mostly don't care, talk mostly to myself and let others listen. the few characters I have in a post on Twitter doesn't make me think about "orginal content". I do that in the fediverse and then often republish on Twitter (in form of threads with the main work over there being the "formating"). Right now Twitter is site on which I subscribe to some news and informational accounts. There is not much exchange between us.
BlueSky may have an awful privacy policy but I use it as a backup account should Twitter go even more downhill. Plus me and a few buddies linger there to escape the rude, and by rudeness dulling, atmosphere on Twitter. But things may change should more people use this site.
I usually don't use Mastodon or rather: Mastodon run sites. (I have a backup and archive account over there.) One reason is the content wanrning nonsense, the other is that due to federation not all sites interact with each, and in the blocking wars I often cannot reach someone or subscribe to him. One-fits-all-platforms have a clear advantage here.
Anyway, the main reason I am in the Fediverse is that I have been a long time in the Fediverse. There are a few people I like keeping contact with, and most of all, I have ample space to write without the hassle of characater number restrictions. Small numbers lead to sloganeering, while larger numbers allow more reflective thoughts. Which, then, counters the dopamine hunt again.
