@icedquinn This is why I passed on C# when I was looking for new things to learn a couple of years ago. What even is its niche now? Unity and ASP.NET?

It's a shame, because .net isn't a bad platform. It has a decent ecosystem, and the other languages are interesting. (F# is the only functional language I've ever not hated.) Any other company would've been able to turn it into the Java-killer MS so desperately wanted it to be all those years ago.
