@efi any what, subtitle editors? A whole bunch actually, butthe only one I could find with VTT support is subtitld and it looks like both the domain and project are dead.

There's also Subtitle Edit which can finally run on Linux now but I'm having trouble getting it to run with Unicode instead of ASCII - this might just be an Arch thing tho. I have the same problem with the Firestorm viewer for Second Life.
