Allan HaverholmI've already curated my feeds rather ruthlessly according to my own interests and sensibilities, just to sluice the stream a bit. Add to those the many domains that my instance admin has blocked, that's a lot of blacklist to keep adding to!
Instead, I would be building a FOAF, interest based network. It would be a splinternet for sure, and one with limited discovery of new instances, but that appeals to my near-analog, small web sensibilities, wizened as they are by middle age 😛
