@mayu @remi@misskey.heonian.org @evilbot@fedi.absturztau.be yes, it is. the patterns define, which instrument plays which note on which channel with what effect. each instrument has an envelope that defines the basic shape of the sample (like fade outs and stuff) and then there are the samples itself.
with that, you only store each sample once and reuse it many many times over and over again. makes for a super small filesize
