Kit Rhett Aultman@tc_morekindness @zombierustpunk I'm not so sure it's that linear. By that logic, I, a Gen Xer, should find the blue hair and pronouns of Gen Z shocking. On the contrary, they remind me of when my friends used to die their hair with Kool Aid, and picking my pronouns in my teen years would have saved me a lot of lost time as an adult.
Perhaps the early midcentury was a time of unnatural prudishness for white America instead?
