Every year they meet for dinner and then go out and hack the border with spits and do their part to bend Scania away from the rest of Sweden, to one day reunite with Denmark.
"Friends of the Spit" has members from both the to-be-Danish side and the core Swedish side. =)
Scania's border is with Småland, which was Danish too, but Scania is the province that has stayed the most independent-minded, and the accent of which other Swedes find the hardest to understand.
