djsumdogI don't think so at all. What is logically wrong with what I said? People could at one time support whole families and buy homes (yea I know, property tax, but it's still better than renting) with a single income.
It's the added welfare programs that destroyed a lot of minority neighborhoods by discouraging the growth of families and the pride in one's efforts. That's literally welfare (socialism) v capitalism.
