Some people check mails reception. Many don't check.
You are worried about it, but it's not your misconfiguration or your fault.
People using Gmail or Microsoft don't care about it. They don't know other mails providers, for them, "it's works". (Or better than Yahoo or Laposte).
Silent deletions without any notification should be considered as a bug too.
Hey, they chosen their mail provider, wisely or not. Sent mails from Gmail or Microsoft won't change a lot.
