@0x00string My girlfriend is terrified of this shit and I try not to even discuss a lot of this stuff with her, but I've been forced to lately because we're out here in enemy territory and we only have each other.

We don't have friends here.
We don't have family.
We see all of the huge truck-nuts trumpanzees around us, but she doesn't see them as a threat like I do.

I'm still unemployed so I can't drop the $1500-2000ish on a rifle, thousands of rounds, body armor, and an "escape to somewhere safer" plan and kit.

I'm just trying to keep my rent and utilities paid and not end up homeless in a desert in a red state.
