Fun fact: #GNUsocial was originally designed so we could keep track of darts matches at the FSF. A lot of it was also figured out over games of Kings of War in the conference room.

@Jyoti we’ve been federated since about 2010. The same year we started a social networking project. In 2016, Mastodon was created as an alternative version of our social project. History on this stuff is easily forgotten. I need to do a better job of putting stuff up on the site.
