@yogthos America, just like public corporations, only things in the very short/near term. Anybody with any sense could predict that this would backfire. The sanctions on Russia, for example, will backfire. Acts of economic and industrial sabotage, like what the US has been doing liberally, only work once. They're tactical tools, not strategic. They hurt your target in the very short term, immediately---but, often at the expense of strengthening them long term. America, like a spoiled brat child having a tantrum, rushes out and plays these cards in the opening move out of frustration and vindictiveness……never questioning what happens next. You played the card……now what? Nothing? No follow up? So, just sit around for 5--10 years and watch your opposition develop immunity to any future plays of that nature? Become stronger and better off for it? Interesting move, USA! See how it plays out……
