maximum enraging. Two years in a row now this contest has been hijacked by the
Israel issue, mercifully less so this year than last year but it still happened again. In the
Eurovision fan community we often speak about “Post Eurovision Depression”, the
huge crash you feel after being excited for weeks about Eurovision and then having it
suddenly end. Now we talk about “Post Eurovision Relief”. The whole thing has
become a harrowing, anxiety-ridden annual ritual now. Watching Eurovision is no
longer fun. How many years are we going to have to experience this terrifying coin-
