GrapheneOSMicrosoft implemented a simple WebAssembly interpreter for Microsoft Edge as part of their earlier JIT disable feature. Microsoft submitted their WebAssembly interpreter to Chromium and got it merged after a long time. Chrome / Chromium doesn't use it, maintain it or test it.
