@Maximillian I figured this one out with my second grade teacher. I remember thinking, "Gosh, she really isn't very bright." but I kept it to myself. As time went on I began to notice most of the adults were WAY stupid, too, and couldn't be trusted or relied upon. Years later a kid in High School, a neighbor girl, told me that she thought I was a lot smarter than our second grade teacher.
I finally felt vindicated.
