I recognize that time isn’t linear, and also I’m just old, but it still disconcerts me to be at some big arena event and hear, say, “Master of Puppets,” which came out 40 ago (and was decidedly *not* mainstream at the time.)

It’s like if they were playing, I dunno, Bing Crosby at basketball games when I was in high school.
