@fkamiah17 That's true, but it's also perfectly natural for people to dislike anyone else speaking for them and making decisions about their lives. Fundamentally, people want to make their own decisions on matters that affect them. Historically speaking, the relatively recent creation of "representative democracy" has really been a measure to placate the masses while still having a hierarchical group (in this case, careerist professional politicians) speak for them. There are many historical examples - for example, from indigenous societies - where society being organised in that way would be considered an absurdity.
