OldAndCrankyWho remembers a book called When God Was A Woman by Merlin Stone. It was life changing for me back in the day. I'm so tired of living on this planet today. So tired of boys and their toys. I'm going to have to go find that book. It's around somewhere. It explained much to me back then. I don't know how good her research was but the idea was fascinating to me and explained much about the actions of the male animal of this species.
