Router ran out of space again today, apparently due to a lot of dead kernels that needed to be cleaned up. This Lanner embedded appliance I got off of eBay years ago came with a 30GB hard drive. Should be more than enough, but I've been bit a few times by logs, package cache and other crap.
Finally imaged the old 30GB to a 240GB spare I had using dd. Had the drives just hanging out the side of my desktop. Also gives me a backup image of the router itself ... also another Ethernet port on the Lanner died, so I'm down to three working ports 😩
