@waifu@mai.waifuism.life GrapheneOS and other ROMs are derived from Android and thus work the same way, fundamentally. The thing is that they're debloated and optimized so they run snappier, but in the end it all boils down to screen real state and the apps you use.

And the issue with screen size is tricky. You can have a phone with a 1280x720 resolution and 4GB and it'll work just the same as a 2400x1080 with 8GB if they run the same OS version. It also depends of the apps, it's all worthless if they're unoptimized and use fancy graphics (like 90% of the shit you find out there). In the end the best investment would be a Pixel phone and un-Jewgle it just to have decent future-proofing :kanna_sigh:
