LibreOffice@DeltaLima There have been no major updates to Apache OpenOffice since 2014 (the last big release, 4.1). LibreOffice has hundreds of extra features, improvements and fixes. The OpenOffice Git log is almost entirely two people removing whitespace and changing HTML tags to create the impression of activity: https://github.com/apache/openoffice/commits/trunk – So we don't know why the Apache Software Foundation doesn't close it, especially with the unfixed security issues. It's bad for FOSS in general.
