I’ve been doing a lot of research on Textiles, especially rugs, of the Silk Road and I really love the sampler rugs, called Wagireh, which show a number of different patterns in one rug.
Some of them are so beautifully and creatively designed themselves to make a pleasing rug. There are only a couple of quick samples of samplers I found…but I’ve seen many that are more beautiful…just can’t find now, and some with unusual & beautiful asymmetry.
