Truth is that if you are working class then you will be waiting a long time, you probably won't be able to afford children because of rent, bills and food eat up most of your income. You won't be able to afford your own home even on two people working salary. You won't be able to afford to look after your parents or grandparents that give this advice.

If you want children then have them anyway and live within your means.
