I hope other organisations study the Australian Electoral Commission’s methods. I was at a super busy polling place serving voters from multiple nearby electorates. Every single staff member was professional, friendly, knew exactly what was going on and attentive to people with special needs. That’s especially impressive when they’re employing people who mostly only work with them one day every couple of years. We are a lucky country to have our democracy facilitated and protected by such a high quality organisation.
