No, no, the problem is worse than I thought.
- I tell apt to install python3.9. It does.
- I tell apt to remove python3.8. It says, okay, then I'll uninstall all these other things also: and the list includes ubuntu-release-upgrader-core ubuntu-standard and CLEARLY if I say yes I will no longer have a functional system.
I have python 3.9. But when I run apps I installed via pip, they complain that they're running in python 3.8. I don't actually know how to fix this. gghgshfhg
