    Among the proposed cuts to #immigrant & #refugee assistance is $650M earmarked for the DHS Shelter & Services Program. The initiative helped cities, migrant advocacy groups & churches provide temporary #housing to migrants under President #Biden.

    The initiative has long been a target of the #Trump admin, which has launched a review into the city & county of El Paso & other nonprofits that have taken the funds, suggesting they may have violated a human smuggling law. [lies]
