@manualdousuario @deadsuperhero @news Under the default settings it creates a new title-less post on my blog. Of course your control of formatting and rich content is limited by the app you are using. I generally prefer to create blogposts in WP admin console and then use my Mastodon app (Phanpy) to handle fediverse replies and interactions or follow others. You can run into problems, but it's genuinely a pretty fun experience.

In future I plan to divide my blog into full-formatted long posts handled in Gutenberg and a feed of shorter toots/boosts sent from Phanpy.

Using self-hosted WP as a personal instance ofc has the same limitation as any personal instance (no access to wider fediverse network until you actively create the connections) but yes. It's fun.
