We're literally paying people peanuts to "guard" empty factories which are rotting in place instead. That won't change with tariffs alone.
You hear a lot about all the regulatory cutting that's ostensibly happening, and the eliminating of public/government spending. But neither of those are happening in reality. Those two things would also have to happen coupled with a reduction/elimination of income taxes.
The elephant in the room is that a Democratic Republic is incapable of maintaining an executive in power to oversee this process for more than decade to see a meaningful transformation and rebuilding of supply chains because that's how long it would take.
In less than four years Trump will be gone and NOTHING he did will matter because of the term limits on the executive position.
All people will remember is how he didn't do shit to alleviate regulatory/bureaucratic stresses and how much damage he did to their businesses and bank accounts and they will vote accordingly.
Want to talk about 'void abstracts'? Trump's sycophants are living in a fantasy world. I don't hate Trump, it's hard to hate the guy or what he's allegedly trying to do, but what he wants is impossible to achieve in just three years.
Never mind how he lets himself get terminally distracted by the warmonger kikes in congress who are constantly whispering 'muh middle east, muh Iran' in his ear.
TL;DR: Nothing will happen.
