    @p @dsm That is r/w storage and not a ROM.

    Just look at SSD prices to see how much EEPROM costs nowadays (yes, NAND is a poor-quality type of EEPROM).

    NVMe is quite complicated, you would want to use SPI, or LPC or SATA really.
