reminder that "conservative" as a political term doesn't have anything to do with "conserving money". That's a made-up etymology and only applies to a specific school of Reaganomics. Conservatism is, and always has been, an ideology centered around producing, enforcing, and defending a stable caste system.

(Contrast with fascism, for which a caste system is only one possible means to an end, where the end in question is violence-for-violence's-sake.)
