@grips I don't see a way to get rid of the joins. How would you check that the activity is really orphaned without them?

How big is the DB dump? Because if it is above like 80GB, it will take ages on the VPS thanks to Fran's 200 IOPS limit on the slab storage. The lack of memory also doesn't help. My 25GB DB took 20 minutes to repack on BuyVM and that was with a 12GB lvmcache in front of it located on the OS drive.
