Then I am telling you there is something for you here to learn, which it is not my job to teach you. Go study up, use them a bit, and ask: “What problem did they solve that ML did not that finally got this excellent idea into the mainstream?” (Hint: it had nothing to do with hardware speed.) If you refuse to believe that there was a real problem, you’ll stay stuck in being angry at the world for not being as enlightened as you. If you believe that there •was• still a problem to be solved, you can be a part of improving the world.
