Kit Rhett Aultman@alilly I don't know anything about the game you're playing, but in games I've played that made a distinction between "resign" and "quit", it was because resignation reflected as a loss in your personal statistics while quitting abandoned the game entirely. For some players, that distinction mattered. For example, if you're playing chess and want to track your progress.
