    An analysis of the 2023 data on planet K2-18b published in Jan 2025 concluded -

    - No statistically significant or reliable evidence for CO2 or dimethyl sulfide (DMS).

    - The revised composition of K2-18 b can be explained by an oxygen-poor mini-Neptune without requiring a liquid water surface or life.
