Worse still, its endgame isn’t salvation, but surrender. Christianity embraces the destruction of the world as a divine inevitability -- a righteous finale to human history. It despises the material world, human progress, and even life itself as flawed and temporary, unworthy compared to the imagined perfection of a heavenly afterlife. In this view, Earth is just a waiting room, and any attempt to improve it is not only pointless, but potentially blasphemous.
