I am so glad some of the Ivies have finally come out of their stupor and started fighting the fascists. This is genuinely great news.

These particular institutions have some of the oligarchs over a barrel, if they want to, if they have the courage:

Ivies are •heavy• on legacy admissions. The deal: “You have absurd amounts of money. You pay us full tuition. In exchange, we’ll give your kid (who wouldn’t otherwise get in) a diploma with our valuable brand name stamped on it, and access to the network of privilege that comes with attendance.“
