New stellaris game, playing as a slightly different empire, smaller map (less lag).

I found a primitive foxgirl society, but they were originally spacefaring..? They were forcefuly "devolved" in the past (there is a weapon you can use to do that to enemy populations), but this pre-FTL empire was randomly generated.

Curious, I suppose one could try to write their own fiction on what exactly happened. Oh well, I'm sending in the raiding ships to kidnap them to turn them into domestic servants.
