im not sure whether the "elementary school until 8th grade" thing is really such a good idea

different kids have different abilities, talents, capabilities, interests and the goal should be to give *everyone* the ability to realize their full potential. and sorry, this just means educating them in different ways. there is simply no "one bill fits all".

the current system here is already tuned to fit a certain norm/average and there's a lot of youths that are either underwhelmed/bored with what is being taught or overwhelmed and struggling. both is incredibly frustrating and harmful. the system is also straight up hostile towards insular talents. we need a system that is able to accommodate many different sorts of needs, without stigmatization.
