@JustDude I don't know if OpenHAB is a better project -- it's written in Java so it's probably better than the Python HomeAssistant -- but they do themselves zero favors with the complete lack of a competent marketing strategy.

I can go to their site and see a lot of logos of companies and products they integrate with, but trying to find images and videos of the web interface and clients and how it all works but coming up empty handed after 5 minutes of effort leads me to believe they don't want you to see what it looks like and what it can do.
