While in high school, I was taunted by the same bully for four years. Although he towered over me and outweighed me by 70+ pounds, I didn’t fear him but I didn’t want to fight. He found that laughable.

By my senior year, he decided he’d call me the n-word while throwing a punch at me. I kicked the shit out him. He vomited all over the cafeteria floor and broke down in tears.

America, it’s well past the time that we should have acted.
