These are the first issues of 4 commercially circulated Japanese gay magazines published in the Showa Period: Barazoku (1971-), Adon (1974-1996), Sabu (1974-2002) and The Gay (1981-2005?). I have not yet acquired a premiere issue of Samson, another Japanese gay magazine published from 1982 to 2020.
