@Richard @Sulla my 2c, probably because his son was both the aggressor and allegedly put his hands on the dindu first.

Obviously not grounds for deadly force. If he had OC sprayed whitey, I'd defend the dindu.

Dad is overwhelmed with personal grief and the trauma of modern society and is either unable to rationally analyze the situation, or *is* thinking rationally, knows his son was the aggressor and escalated the conflict and doesn't want a hyped up media circus at trial.
