My favorite was a modified version of "the wheel", basically buying things based on my personal view and observarions of the economy at large rather than fundamentals of an earnings report. I bought Kraft Heinz calls and several others a few years ago when inflation was here but not recognized by any official sources on the logic that people were going to buy more mac n cheese and low cost foods because the economy was bad (defensive consumer goods). Crushed it.
