The Do’s cont:
- bring extra maxi pads: in case of injuries, they make great staunchers of blood.
- for that matter, bring a small first-aid kit. you may need it for blisters from all that walking. also toilet paper and a hand towel.
- bring more water than you think you’ll need. carry high-protein snacks like almonds. dont bring sugary snacks (they’ll dehydrate you) but definitely bananas or grapes.
- if you can, bring to share, even if it is just one extra ration.
