I agree that it's important to take action, but the action ought to be focused on something other than just causing the wicked to suffer. Prevent them from doing harm, do what must be done to stop them, and repair the damage they've done. Do good and prevent harm, first and foremost. Making your mail goal be to cause suffering to the wicked is, in itself, a wicked act, even if those people deserve it, and often puts the needs of the victims second. Don't act out of hatred, don't act out of a desire to do evil even towards those who are evil, act out of a desire to do good.
