there is absolutely zero excuse for only having a discord for your project

• “hosting is expensive” you can use github/codeberg/gitlab/sourcehut pages
• “domain names are expensive” no one will mind if your project uses a github.io subdomain
• “i can’t write changelogs” ok this is kinda fair but you can just copy-paste your git commits to use as a changelog

like sure, there is a good reason to not have a separate forum or whatever (hosting those isn’t free, and it’s more work moderating them), it’s fine to only have an issue tracker + discord for discussions, but there is no excuse for only having announcements on discord. EVEN MORE SO for downloads.

if i have to join your discord server to download your mod i’m just not gonna use it ever
