i have this deep anger towards the fact that i can't keep things the way i want it. as the world changes, i'm forced to update my own systems -- move houses, get new computers, smartphones, and update to new UIs, get new clothes, etc.

i've come to believe that i won't come to accept it until i've tried literally everything in my power to permanently avoid it.
